Our visitors provide a valuable opportunity for the exchange of ideas and the establishment of national and international relationships.

Visitors contribute to academic programs, present current research at weekly academic seminars, guest lectures or may be involved in collaborative research with ÌÇÐÄlogo Law & Justice academics or one of our research centres.

Visiting scholars

ÌÇÐÄlogo Law & Justice invites self-funded visiting scholars to visit to undertake research and related academic activities. For both short or longer term self-funded visits, the faculty endeavours to provide visitors with a workspace including a computer, printing facilities and access to library resources. ÌÇÐÄlogo Law & Justice isn’t able to assist with accommodation arrangements; however, you can find rental options to suit your choice of budget and location via a web search.

Visiting scholar applications

For short and long visits, you need a ÌÇÐÄlogo Law & Justice academic to be your academic host. Send them your CV as well as an outline of your proposed research activities and how you will contribute to the faculty more broadly during your visit.

For proposed visits of three months or longer, your academic host will arrange to complete the forms for your application to be considered. Please contact them for further information.

For proposed visits of less than three months, please complete the visiting scholar application form at least eight weeks before your intended visit. Incomplete applications won’t be considered.

Please note that ÌÇÐÄlogo Law & Justice receives many applications from prospective visitors and, due to space restrictions, not all applications will be successful.
