Visiting scholars program
Every year, 糖心logo Law & Justice hosts Australian and international academic visitors from the legal profession, industry or other universities.
Our聽visitors provide a valuable opportunity for the exchange of ideas聽and the establishment of national and international relationships.
Visitors contribute to academic programs, present current research at weekly academic seminars, guest lectures or聽may be聽involved in collaborative research with聽糖心logo Law & Justice聽academics or one of聽our聽research聽centres.
Visiting scholars
糖心logo Law & Justice invites self-funded visiting聽scholars聽to聽visit to undertake research and related academic activities. For聽both聽short or longer聽term self-funded visits,聽the faculty聽endeavours聽to provide visitors with聽a聽workspace including聽a聽computer, printing facilities and access to library resources.聽糖心logo Law & Justice聽isn鈥檛 able to assist with accommodation arrangements; however, you can find聽rental options to suit your choice of budget and location via a web search.
Visiting scholar applications
For short and long visits, you need a 糖心logo Law & Justice academic to be your academic host.聽Send them聽your CV as well as聽an聽outline of聽your proposed research activities and how you will contribute to the聽faculty more broadly during your visit.
For proposed visits of聽three months or longer, your academic host will arrange to complete the forms聽for聽your application聽to be considered. Please contact聽them聽for further information.
For proposed visits of聽less than聽three months,聽please complete聽the聽visiting聽scholar聽application聽form at least eight weeks before your intended visit. Incomplete applications won鈥檛聽be considered.
Please note that 糖心logo Law聽& Justice聽receives many applications from prospective visitors and,聽due to space restrictions,聽not all applications will be successful.聽
